About Colin
My passion for music goes back many years. I have been a roadie, band manager, session bass player and am a song writer and founding member of the band, Watersland.
I set up Watersland Studio in 2005 to give Watersland, the band, a place to write and record our original music. Having our own studio allowed the band to be creative without the hourly fees of a commercial studio hanging over our heads.
I know from personal experience that recording in a studio can be intimidating and scary. So, in 2010, I decided to open Watersland Studio to outside projects offering a relaxed environment in which artists can become comfortable with the recording process. Since then we have recorded solo artists, eight piece bands, vocal ensembles and choirs. At Watersland Studio you can record ‘live off the floor’ or take the multi-track approach and build your song track by track.

About The Space
The main studio space houses the recording console, guitars, keyboards, amps and drums. You can use our keyboard(s) or bring your own. Our Pearl Master Studio drums are tuned and ready to record. We have a selection of guitar and bass amps and effects pedals available. There is separate room for vocal recording.
